Hello Lovlies! Wow we’re nearly at the end of March! This year is just flying by!! March has been an interesting month to say the least, however, one thing has stayed consistent and that’s been my love for all things beauty. With that said, here are the products I enjoyed the most in March.
Dior – Backstage Face and Body Foundation
I have really enjoyed wearing this foundation this month, usually when I wear any other foundation other than the Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation, I always end up with foundation broken up on my forehead or wiped off around my nose and mouth area. I am happy to say that the Dior Backstage Face and Body foundation stays put all day, when I apply it to my face I instantly feel a dry powdery feel. I love this foundation for day to day wearing because you can add one layer and give yourself a natural sheer look or build it up to give you a more full coverage look, unlike other foundations, you will feel like you’re wearing no foundation at all. It’s made with a waterproof formula making it perfect to wear in the Summer time, when you’re working out and in the humidity.
The Dior Backstage Face and Body foundation contains 40 shades, including 16 intensities and 6 undertones, making it easy to find a shade to suit all skin tones. And don’t we know how important that is. Often companies release foundations that do not cater to all skin tones, well done Dior, hopefully other brands can follow in their footsteps.

Makeup Forever – Matte Velvet Skin Blurring Powder Foundation
I have really been enjoying this powder foundation this month, I wear it on its own, over foundation or to touch up throughout the day. This powder is water resistant and really blurres any imperfections giving you that airbrushed look. The great thing about this formula is that it’s breathable and doesn’t clog your pores. I use this powder with my favourite powder brush and apply it all over the face. When I’m touching I use the sponge that comes with it (it’s really good quality) and I apply it to the spots that need to be touched up. It’s long lasting and doesn’t look cakey on the skin.
This product is high coverage so you should use it sparingly if you’re using it as a setting powder, only a small amount of powder is needed to add to your brush.
This powder comes in 30 shades, you are sure to find a colour for you no matter your tone.

Flower Beauty Powder Blush – Sweet Pea
This month I was feeling more into wearing a pink toned blush so I picked up this one by Flower Beauty, I have never received as many compliments on a blush colour as I have wearing this one. It’s a fair call, it’s a very pretty pink colour that gives you a natural pinky flush to the skin. It applies to the skin silky and smooth and is very easy to apply using your favourite blush brush.

Lancôme – Monsieur Big
Moving on to mascara, have you tried this mascara? Please let me know in the comments section, I am OBSESSED with this mascara, I have tried all the hyped up mascaras and they’re good, don’t get me wrong, but when you try the Monsieur Big, you will not be able to go back to any other mascara. This mascara volumises, lengthens and thickens the lash giving you the falsie look. I have been told MANY times that I have really long lashes, in reality I don’t. My lashes are short and straight but when I wear this mascara I look like I naturally have long lashes. I can’t rave about this mascara enough.
The Monsieur Big mascara has a thick bristled brush and a silky formula and is long wearing, I never get any flakeyness wearing this mascara which is such a relief, I can’t deal with the stress of mascara flaking and not seeing it until hours later!

YSL Rouge Volupte Shine – 47 Beige Blouse
I love this lipstick, I sometimes just wear it as a lip balm, yes ok! It’s an expensive lip balm but come on! I’ve killed two birds with one stone! Ha ha
In all seriousness this is such a great lip product, it’s a staple for any collection, this oil infused lipstick moisturises your lips making them feel supple and juicy, the colour payoff is good too, it is medium coverage so it’s good for business meetings or on occasions where a bold colour is not necessary. Did I forget to add that the lipstick has a mango scent? Not one that is overpowering, it’s just as subtle as the product. Honestly it’s such a delightful product to wear, I can’t live without it.

Revolution – Hyaluronic Acid Overnight Hydrating Mask
I love this moisturising mask, I apply this in the evening and leave it on while I sleep, the next morning my skin feels so moisturised and smooth. Formulated with sweet almond oil to promote smooth and soft skin and Vitamin E to moisturise. I use this product 2-3 times a week and it’s really made a difference in my texture and fine lines, this product has quickly become a staple in my beauty collection.

Neutrogena – Rapid Wrinkle Repair Retinol Oil
This serum is a powerful little product, I dab 4-5 drops of this product on my face every night and leave it on while I sleep, it’s fast absorbing and moisturises my skin whilst visibly reducing the size of my wrinkles. This product is enriched with retinol SA which is said to provide more benefits than other forms of Vitamin A.

That’s it for me this week, hope you guys are keeping safe and moisturised and a little glam, even if you are stuck indoors! Playing with makeup can be so therapeutic, I recommend going to your beauty station and start playing around with colours you wouldn’t necessarily dare to touch, you might surprise yourself and notice the time has just flown.
