Mother’s Day Gift Guide

Hello Lovelies, cannot believe Mother’s Day is approaching. Just because you can’t get to the shops, doesn’t mean you can’t get your mother a present. This is what online shopping is for. If you’re stuck, you’ve come to the right place, I’ll give you my top suggestions for a Mother’s Day present. Keep on reading for my hot items.

Just because your mother can’t get to a salon, doesn’t mean she can’t still get a manicure. There are plenty of manicure kits online that you can find depending on what you want to achieve. You can get a simple Manicure kit or you can go for a more professional manicure and gift her a Dip Nail kit. Want to make the manicure even more special? Give your mother the manicure and give her a day of true pampering. You’ll earn serious favourite child points!

A hair dryer you ask? Why yes! Why not a hair dryer? If your mother is anything like mine, she has probably had her hair dryer for well over a decade. Because we can’t get to the hair salons right now, why not get her a professional hair dryer so she can get a professional look from home. My favourites right now are the:

Parlux 3800 Eco Friendly Ceramic and Ionic Hair Dryer

A reliable dryer with 2100 watts of power, 6 speed/heat settings and an instant cold shot button combined for super-fast drying. The Ceramic and Ionic technology really leave your hair feeling soft, shiny and frizz free.

Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer

A fast drying tool, it’s truly a powerful machine. It features a V9 motor at up to 110,000rpm. Combined with Air Multiplier technology, it produces high-pressure jet of controlled air, for fast drying and precision styling. It’s suitable for all hair types.

Keeping with the grooming theme, a Pedicure Kit will be much appreciated for your mothers toes that are probably crying out for help right about now. Try adding a personalised service by giving her the pedicure. Add a Foot Spa to the mix and your mother will float straight out of her chair, right into the most luxurious health retreat all because if you!!

Give your mother some tools she can use forever to keep her skin looking plump and youthful. Starting with the Derma Roller Once she uses this she will be addicted. The benefits of using a derma roller are, collagen production, to improve skin tone and elasticity. Pairing it with a Vitamin C Serum will aide with the absorption of the product.  Vitamin C is a brightening serum and great for anti ageing. This tool is truly a game changer in the beauty world. * because the derma roller contains small needles, you need to do your research on what best suits your skin and how to use it on your skin. Always ensure your tool is disinfected and santised before and after use.

Another tool I swear by is the Rose Quartz Face Roller by Angel Caglia face rollers are ideal for lymphatic drainage to help skin looking youthful and contoured, it also aides with product absorption.

Follow the facial up with the Summer Fridays – Jet Lag Mask  a vegan hydration mask which will leave your skin feeling smooth and moisturised.

Finish up the facial with a rich moisturiser the La Mer Crème de la Mer is my favourite, it’s known to tighten pores and smooth out wrinkles, leaving your skin feeling firm.

Your mother should be feeling like a Queen by now.

Spoil your mother with a luxurious KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer . We all know quarantine has us all playing in the kitchen more than what we usually are, why not buy your mother a machine so she does it in style. I truly am a big fan of anything from Kitchen Aid, their products are top quality and last a long time. The truly unique part of this mixer is that you can get all sorts of attachments for it for things like, pasta making, sifting and even spiralising.

For some feminine and luxurious fragrances that your mother deserves, look no further than Chanel – Coco Mademoiselle a fresh and flirty fragrance that has a unique scent. Giorgio Armani – Si another luxurious, fruity scent with a touch of elegance. Lastly DIOR – Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet a flirty floral yet elegant scent, perfect for for the mother that likes to smell like a garden full of luxurious flowers!

We’re all getting out there and getting more active and I am sure your mother will appreciate a device to keep track of her activity all whilst looking stylish. The Fitbit – Versa 2 Smartwatch this device is modern and versatile with voice control, Apps and notifications, store and play music, Fitbit pay, heart rate tracking 24/7, up to 4 day battery mode and many more features. Your mother will absolutely love this device.

8. ROBE

Let’s be real, if your mother is anything like mine, she already has a collection of robes, am I right? I bet she doesn’t have a luxurious robe though. The robe I’m about to recommend is so yummy and soft, buttery and luxurious. I’m talking about the Homebodii – Hooded Luxe Robe its 100% Polyester and features a hood and pockets, this robe will keep your mother warm while looking stylish at the same time.

I hope my recommendations helped you pick the perfect gift for your mother. If you can’t get her a gift, buy her some flowers or a gift card from her favourite shop, take her for a walk and buy her a coffee or even just a card. If your mother is anything like mine, then all she says is “don’t get me anything” “don’t waste your money” “I don’t need anything”. All they really ask of us is to be good humans and good to them. Mothers are selfless beings that have put their lives on hold to raise us to be the adults that we are today. I would like to dedicate this post to all mothers out there, who live selflessly everyday raising kids, working, cooking, cleaning, teaching and everything else that they do. Here’s to you! May you have a day filled with love and laughter.

Lots of love and respect
